Welcome to the home of the 1st Upminster Scout Group.
At 1st Upminster we believe in giving young people #SkillsForLife through a varied and challenging programme. Our youngest section is the Beavers which start from the age of 6 and move up the sections until they turn 14 in Scouts. At the age of 14 they can join a local Explorer group or become a young leader with one of the sections.
Young people are welcome to join at any age but there is always a high demand for the Beaver section. We recommend adding your child to the waiting list at least a year before their 6th birthday. To join the waiting list or any other section, please use the contact form by clicking 'contact' above or clicking here
Events and our local community
We're always running fundraising events such as quiz nights, race evenings and our annual fireworks display. If you would like to see our latest events then please join our open Facebook group which can be found here:www.facebook.com/groups/1stups/

'Two things matter in life: following your dreams and looking after your friends. This is what I love about Scouting.
'It’s about doing great things, loving and enjoying the great adventures and helping others to do the same.'
